Vicki is currently the founder and president of ElderFit
In Home Rehab, a physical therapy private
practice providing home based therapy and wellness consultation
services. She is a board certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist.
She has been practicing for 20 years and has specialized in
working with seniors.
She acts as a consultant with the North Carolina Orange County
Department of Aging and teaches strength training classes
provided within the senior center system. She is also an active
member of the North Carolina Physical Therapy Association
(NCPTA) and serves as Chief Delegate and Co-chair of the reimbursement
committee. She is a recognized expert on Medicare reimbursement
and has lectured locally and nationally on reimbursement and
wellness practice topics. She is the FUNfitness North
American Clinical Director for Special Olympics, Inc. and
is responsible for monitoring the implementation and coordination
of the FUNfitness programs in the US, Canada, and the Caribbean.
She has also coordinated and participated in FUNfitness Train
the trainer sessions held nationally and internationally and
served as a consultant to Special Olympics Inc. at three Special
Olympic World Game events.
